You don't have to read it all at once obviously, but it's a good idea to give a lot of it a quick look over! Regarding the 'Submissions Tutorial' if you feel too lazy to submit using that method then you can of course use the 'Contribute Art' button on the homepage, but make sure you select the right folder as otherwise it will be sent to Web Layouts as the Featured folder is closed.
